Tracking a rainy day

TODAY: A system producing cold rain will dominate today, and we could even see a few snow flurries where temperatures become cool enough. Overall, .5" of rain is expected from this system, and any snowflakes that happen to fall will not have major impacts. Highs will only be in the lower 40s.

TONIGHT: The rain will clear out of the area, leaving behind cloud coverage that will stick with us to start our week. Lows will be in the upper 30s.

EXTENDED:  Warmth returns to mid-Missouri starting Monday with temperatures jumping back into the 50s. Tuesday is our next chance to see rain and even some thunderstorms. By Wednesday, we will be reaching into the 60s for highs, and the sun may make a reappearance. The latter half of the week is unsettled for now, so keep your rain boots on hand.
