COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's and women's basketball uniforms will feature a new logo in the 2026-27 season.

On Monday, MU Athletics and Learfield announced that World Wide Technology, a St. Louis-based company, will be the new jersey patch partner of Mizzou hoops. As a part of that partnership, the World Wide Technology logo will appear on the uniforms of both the men's and women's squads, as well as on the floor at Norm Stewart Court.

"We are proud to welcome World Wide Technology as a partner of Mizzou Athletics and Mizzou Basketball," Mizzou Athletics Director Laird Veatch said in a press release. "[World Wide Technology's] founder and chairman David Steward, its co-founder and CEO Jim Kavanaugh and their team have built an extraordinary company with a global reach and deep Missouri roots. When you have the opportunity to partner with a brand of [World Wide Technology's] caliber, you put them at the top of your draft board. [World Wide Technology's] investment in our basketball programs demonstrates a strong belief in Mizzou and our commitment to competing for championships. We’re excited to continue to build this partnership with an organization that shares our pride in Missouri and our ambition to demand excellence."

World Wide Technology is a global technology solutions provider, which is headquartered in the St. Louis area. The University of Missouri already had a long-standing connection with the company, as they worked together on MU's technology modernization efforts across all University of Missouri System campuses, as well as MU Health Care.

“World Wide Technology is an outstanding example of what can be accomplished through vision and teamwork. I have really appreciated my relationship with Mr. Steward over the years and know how much he values giving back to the community,” Mizzou men's basketball coach Dennis Gates said in a press release. “He has continually demonstrated that with his exceptional work with the Steward Family Foundation and with his partnership at Mizzou. We're grateful for Mr. Steward’s support and friendship as we continue to build a championship program in Columbia.”

"We're so grateful for World Wide Technology's investment in Mizzou and Mr. Steward’s belief in our programs and student-athletes," Mizzou women's basketball coach Kellie Harper said in a press release. "Having a Missouri-based technology company with [World Wide Technology's] reputation and history support our team is incredibly exciting, and we're proud to represent this university and our state together."
