Missouri's no-excuse absentee voting begins Tuesday and ends Nov. 2, allowing voters to cast their ballots in person before election day on Nov. 3.

Voters can cast their ballots in person at the Boone County Government Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Voters do not need to sign up in advance and only need a photo ID.

Weekend hours are also available in Boone County, such as:

  • Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Columbia Mall
  • Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Douglass High School
  • Oct. 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Southern Boone Middle School at 303 N Main (Ashland) & Friendship Place at 110 N Rollins (Centralia)
  • Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Columbia/Boone County Health Department

According to a social media post from the Boone County Clerk's Office, if you're out of town, ill, or have a disability, you must request a mail-in absentee ballot by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Applications for a mail-in ballot can be found on the county clerk's website.

Voters who request a mail-in absentee ballot are asked to mail in the ballots as soon as possible so they can be received before 7 p.m. on Nov. 3.

If you live in Cole County, you can cast your ballot at the Courthouse Annex on East High Street in downtown Jefferson City from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through Oct. 23.
