SEC media picks Mizzou hoops to finish eighth in the conference

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Despite having assembled a Top-15 transfer and freshman class for the 2026-27 season, Mizzou men's basketball coach Dennis Gates and his team were picked to finish eighth in the SEC, by media members.

In addition, there were no players for the Tiger roster picked to finish First, Second or Third Team All-SEC in the upcoming season.

Members of the SEC media corps expect the Florida Gators to repeat as the Southeastern Conference champion, with voting done by a select panel of both SEC and national media members.
