Juvenile in custody; accused of stealing family member’s car

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers took a juvenile into custody Sunday for allegedly stealing a family member's car in Jefferson City.

MSHP's Troop F said in a social media post that Flock Safety Cameras were used to find the car.

Trooper's say the minor was spotted driving westbound on I-70 when the car was spotted at the 146 mile marker. A pursuit followed until the 141 mile marker.

Troopers took the youth into custody. No other information was provided.
