Tracking a clear and cool night, nice Sunday ahead

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the lower 60s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and pleasant with highs in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED: Upper high pressure to our west continues to allow winds to flow in from the north, northwest as drier and cooler than average air sits over the region. Temperatures fall to the low 60s overnight, making for a nice Sunday morning. Sunday will be one of the cooler days of the upcoming week with sunshine and highs in the lower 80s. More clouds move in as a disturbance slides by just to our west, bringing a chance of a few showers across western Missouri late Sunday night into Monday. We'll remain under the influence of northwest upper winds into early next week, keeping temperatures just slightly cooler than average. Out west, high pressure tries to press east late in the week, bringing a cold front through the area by mid-week and bringing a low chance for a few showers between Wednesday and Wednesday night. Temperatures look to remain in the upper 80s for the rest of the week.
