Deputy involved shooting in Randolph County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Deputies with the Randolph County Sheriff's Office were involved in a shooting Friday morning.

The shooting happened in the Huntsville area, according to a press release from Randolph County Sheriff Andy Boggs.

According to a press release, all deputies involved are safe and there is no threat to the community.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control is in charge of the investigation, as part of Randolph County protocol, according to the release.
