Flood Warning issued July 16 at 5:50PM CDT until July 18 at 8:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Lamine River near Otterville affecting Cooper County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Lamine River near Otterville.

* WHEN…From this evening to Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, Low lying woodlands and fields along the
river flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 5:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 2.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 15.8 feet late tonight. It will then
fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
