Tracking storms and possible flooding risk this week

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with drizzle and fog developing overnight. Lows in the 40s.

TOMORROW: Fog early, becoming partly cloudy with highs in the low to mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Showers and storms return late tomorrow night as a warm front approaches the area. Expect heavy rain and potentially some embedded storms for the Wednesday morning commute. Rain clears out after the lunch hour on Wednesday, and temperatures begin to rise even more into the mid-60s. We'll be in the warm sector of this system on Thursday, and ingredients could come together for a few severe storms to develop ahead of a cold front on Thursday afternoon. However, if the front moves through earlier in the day, there's a chance storms won't make it to severe levels. That said, it will be our warmest day of the week as highs approach 70. We're much cooler behind the cold front as temperatures drop back into the 40s with Canadian high pressure building in starting Friday through the weekend.
