Flood Warning issued June 10 at 4:02PM CDT until June 14 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Chariton River at Novinger affecting Schuyler, Adair, Putnam and
Macon Counties.

Chariton River near Prairie Hill affecting Chariton and Macon
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Chariton River near Prairie Hill.

* WHEN…From Thursday morning to Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, Fields along the river begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 3:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage tomorrow morning
to 16.8 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then fall below
flood stage early Saturday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
