Power restored in Boone County

Power has been restored across Boone County early Monday, after strong storms rolled through late Sunday into the morning.

As of 4:50 a.m., only nine customers are without power in Boone County due to three outages. This is a significant improvement from earlier, when more than 1,300 customers were affected.

Earlier, the Boone Electric Cooperative outage map showed 18 outages reported starting around 3 a.m. Monday, affecting 1,350 customers.

A majority of the outages were west of the Midway area and stretched north along N. Locust Grove Church Road and Route J. Around 15 outages were reported between Rocheport and Midway.

Two outages were also reported in Northern Boone County near Clark on Route Y near Audrain Road 140.

More outages were reported near Prathersville, on E. Oakland Church Road.
