Tracking a cool night, low humidity again on Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the mid-upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with low humidity and highs in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED: Strong high pressure continues to rotate to our east/northeast, pulling in comfortable air through tonight and tomorrow as dew points remain in the 50s. Highs reach around 80 with sunshine on Wednesday. As the upper ridge begins to break down and move east late in the week, we'll see the return of southerly winds and warmer, more humid air. Thursday will be warmer and more humid with highs climbing back into the low to mid-80s. Friday will be hot and humid as temperatures reach the mid-80s, but storm chances will also pick up as we'll be right on the edge of the ridge. A stalled front will provide focus for scattered storms between Saturday and Monday, but we'll warm to the upper 80s between storms, pushing the heat index into the low 90s. Severe weather is not expected as wind shear will be very lacking with this setup. Rain amounts will stay under an inch across the eastern half of the state, while amounts could be slightly higher to the west through early next week.
