Tracking cool and cloudy conditions midweek

THIS AFTERNOON: Partly to mostly cloudy, with mild temperatures in the 60s and a light northwest breeze at 5 to 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and cool, with lows falling to the lower 50s.

EXTENDED: Sunshine will try to peek out on Thursday, but expect another cool day in the 60s and low 70s with lingering clouds. Isolated showers are possible into Thursday night, but most will stay dry until widespread showers and a few rumbles of thunder move in on Friday. Up to an inch of rain is possible on Friday, which could lead to some flooding in low-lying areas south of I-70 where the most rain is expected. Much of Saturday looks dry, and so does Memorial Day weekend as a whole, but afternoon storms are possible each day through Monday with warm temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s.
