Man seriously hurt in ATV crash in Miller County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 49-year-old Iberia man was seriously hurt after an ATV crash in Miller County around midnight Sunday.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was riding a 2017 Can-Am Outlander Four Wheeler going east on Daffofil Lane, west of Rabbit Head Road, when he went off the right side of the road and hit a barbed wire fence.

The man was thrown from the ATV. He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by private transportation with serious injuries.

The report states the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The ATV had minor damage.
