Tracking a rainy Tuesday and cooler weather persisting

TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures persisting in the low 50s through the early afternoon hours, gradually dropping throughout the day. This will be due to continued rainfall during the afternoon and evening hours as winds blow out of the north at 10-15 mph, gusting up to 25 mph.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking rainfall gradually falling apart and exiting the area overnight. Temperatures will cool into the mid-40s by the end of the night as winds blow out of the north at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking morning showers for some on Wednesday, but by the afternoon hours, most are expected to be dry as temperatures warm into the mid-50s thanks to persisting cloud cover. Sunshine and southerly winds return for Thursday, helping temperatures get into the mid-60s by the afternoon hours. Temperatures will finally get back into the 70s by Friday afternoon, continuing to do so throughout the weekend, but rain chances will also make a return. Scattered showers are possible on Friday, but the best chance will arrive Saturday night into Sunday morning.
