COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Shell casings were found at a west Columbia apartment complex early Wednesday morning.

According to Sergeant Hill with the Columbia Police Department, the department was called to the 300 block of Tiger Lane for a report of shots being fired. Three bullet casings were found, but no property damage or victims were reported.

An ABC 17 News videographer arrived at the scene just before 3:45 a.m., and saw three Columbia Police officers searching the area of Tiger Village Apartments. The scene was cleared just before 4:30 a.m.

There is no word on a suspect at this time.
