Tracking a few showers, clouds for Thursday

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with lows in the lower 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with a few spotty showers possible. Highs in the lower 50s.

EXTENDED: We'll see an increase in clouds tonight, but southeast winds prevail, keeping temperatures in the lower 30s. Despite more clouds tomorrow we still manage to make the low 50s. Rain chances aren't zero, but are fairly low given some dry air in place. It will look gloomy through the day with a chance for some spotty showers between mid-late afternoon. Friday is looking dry and warm with some cloud coverage and highs trying to get to near 60 degrees. Rain moves in early on Saturday morning as low pressure slides by to our south across TX/OK/AR, with showers across our southern counties after sunrise, spreading north through the rest of the day. Most rain moves out to the southeast by late Saturday night, leaving us with more sunshine and highs in the upper 50s to around 60. Rain amounts will range between 0.25" and 1", with the higher amounts across southern Missouri. Next week is looking extremely mild with highs in the 60s to almost 70 between Tuesday and Wednesday before a cold front moves in late in the week and brings a cool down and a rain chance.
