Tracking a weekend full of sunshine and above average temperatures

TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures staying in the low 50s throughout the afternoon hours as plenty of sunshine is expected during the day. Winds will be out of the north at 5-10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph thanks to a cold front that moved through the area earlier today.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking temperatures quickly dropping during the overnight hours as winds continue to blow out of the north at 5-10 mph while sky conditions remain clear. This will lead to temperatures dropping into the low 20s by the end of the night.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking sunshine persisting for the entire weekend as slightly cooler temperatures are expected Saturday afternoon with low 40s in the forecast. Warmer weather is expected to make a return on Sunday as the upper 50s are expected. The warmest stretch of weather will arrive on Monday and last throughout Tuesday as temperatures start in the low 30s and 40s during the morning hours, reaching the low 60s by the afternoon. A system bringing rain on Tuesday through Wednesday will help gradually cool temperatures back off for the rest of next week.
