Tracking more mild temperatures and sunshine to close the week

TONIGHT: Temperatures drop quickly into the 30s this evening, with lows around freezing in the lower 30s. Winds will be lighter from the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW: Expect more sunshine on Friday, with highs near 50 degrees. Winds will pick up from the southwest, gusting up to 25 mph in the afternoon.

EXTENDED: The weekend kicks off slightly cooler with highs in the lower 40s on Saturday, due to a passing cold front. We'll stay dry and sunny, with temperatures quickly rebounding to the mid to upper 50s on Sunday. Highs will rise into the 60s on Monday and Tuesday, over 20 degrees above normal for early February and more typical of late March. Rain chances increase from Tuesday onward, cooling temperatures later in the week.
