Tracking slightly cooler temperatures midweek

THIS AFTERNOON: Mostly sunny and cool, with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

TONIGHT: Cloud cover increases overnight, with a few flurries possible, but almost everyone will stay dry. Low temperatures will fall to the lower 20s.

EXTENDED: Wednesday is another cool day, with highs in the mid-30s. A warmup will kick in late week with the return of southerly winds, and highs climb to the 40s on Thursday. We could reach the low 50s on Friday under mostly sunny skies, and we remain in the 40s and 50s throughout the weekend. Temperatures may warm further into the 50s next week, nearing 60 degrees by Tuesday if the warmest end of the forecast pans out. Our next chance of precipitation, likely rain, will move in by the middle of next week.
