Tracking the last of snow, but cold sticks around
TODAY: Sunday is cold and snowy, with travel likely difficult. Highs are forecast in the low teens, with wind chills in the single digits at best today. For the latest on our winter storm, read our ABC17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day Blog. Snow will wind down this afternoon and evening. We expect skies to clear sharply this evening around sunset.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies remain, as another arctic high slides into the region. Temperatures are forecast to be about as cold as they've been this season, with lows of about -5°. Wind chills are brutal, near 15° below zero early Monday.
EXTENDED: Monday's high of mid-teens keeps the snow around, and really, there's not much melting expected this week as temperatures are forecast in the 20s Tuesday through the weekend. We'll have to rely on the sun to melt a little snow each day. Outside of a few flurries Friday night, the forecast ahead remains quiet and cold.
