Tracking more cold and flurries

THIS AFTERNOON: Increasing clouds, with temperatures in the mid 30s. Wind chills remain below freezing in the upper 20s.

TONIGHT: Cloudy and cold, with temperatures hovering in the low 30s. Flurries will brush past eastern Missouri overnight, but we stay dry.

EXTENDED: The week ends cloudy and seasonably, with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s tomorrow. More flurries are possible Friday afternoon, possibly bringing a dusting to a half inch to isolated areas north of I-70, but no problems are expected. Clouds will hang around into Saturday, and we'll be much colder behind a cold front, with temperatures steadily falling through the 20s and ending the day in the teens. Sunday is an ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day as low temperatures drop to single digits Sunday morning, with a below-zero wind chill. The worst cold lingers through Monday with highs in the 20s and 30s, but the extended forecast looks to warm to around average in the upper 30s and low 40s later next week.
