Tracking sunshine for the weekend and a warmup next week

TODAY: I'm tracking persistent cloud cover throughout the afternoon hours, leading to temperatures only warming into the mid-30s. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5-10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking clouds slowly exiting throughout the overnight hours as temperatures drop into the mid-20s by the end of the night. Light and brief rounds of mixed precipitation may be possible, but most will stay dry. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking sunshine making a return for Saturday, leading to temperatures warming into the low 40s by the afternoon hours. It will be slightly warmer on Sunday as breezy southerly winds take over, but the warmest weather of next week is expected on Monday. Temperatures will start in the mid-30s and warm into the low 60s by the afternoon hours as plenty of sunshine is expected. Dry weather with temperatures in the upper 50s will last throughout Wednesday before widespread showers enter the area by Thursday morning.
