EXTENDED: I'm tracking temperatures warming into the upper 30s by the afternoon hours of New Year's Day as a mix of clouds and sun sticks around. Afternoon temperatures will warm into the low 40s by Friday and Saturday, then get into the low 50s for Sunday through Tuesday afternoon.
