Sunny skies lead to a beautiful afternoon, More storms Thursday
THIS AFTERNOON: Morning rain & storms have quickly scooted out of the region. Temperatures will be mild today, into the mid-to-upper 50s.
TONIGHT: Lows bottom out in the upper 40's and low 50's under partly cloudy skies, with those clouds increasing toward daybreak.
EXTENDED: Those clouds are increasing ahead of our next chance for rain. Scattered showers look possible from the early morning onward throughout Thursday. Some storms could be strong in the afternoon, think gusty winds, small hail. Things dry out Friday with cooler weather in store. Highs will be stuck in the low 50's with stubborn cloud cover. Rain moves back in for Saturday, but no thunder is expected with this batch. A cold rain looks to rule the first day of the weekend with highs in the low 40's. Cloudy and cool on Sunday with highs still in the 40's with more active weather next week.
