Mizzou football’s Zion Young arrested by Missouri Highway Patrol for alleged DWI

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested a Tiger football player early Saturday Morning.

Defensive end Zion Young, 21, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. MSHP reports that he was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding, and failure to properly affix his license plate.

He has since been released on summons.

Young this season has been one of the best defensive players in the SEC. He's totaled 6.5 sacks and has forced two fumbles on 38 tackles.
