Tracking a cold morning followed by a big warm up

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds and cold with lows in the mid-20s. Winds could drop wind chills back into the upper teens.

TOMORROW: Gradually decreasing clouds with highs in the upper 50s and gusty southwest winds up to 30 mph.

EXTENDED: It's been a cold start to the week with wind chills as cold as 11 degrees this morning, and another cold night ahead. Lows will drop into the mid-20s with winds shifting back southwest tomorrow, keeping the wind chill in the upper teens to start off the day. An upper ridge begins to build to our west, shifting winds to the southwest on Tuesday. Strong southwest winds will push temperatures back into the upper 50s with more clouds. The rest of the week is looking mild as we reach the 60s Wednesday and Thursday, and low 70s by Friday and Saturday. Another cold front works in between Saturday night and Sunday, bringing a shot at rain and a few storms, and more seasonable temperatures by Sunday. Rain amounts look to be around an inch or less over the weekend with most of the rain holding off until Sunday morning.
