Active weather continues through midweek

THIS AFTERNOON: Rain chances will slowly diminish this afternoon, but a line of thunderstorms is expected to develop after 6:00pm near HWY 65 and move east across mid-Missouri. Expect a chance of storms between 6:00-10:00pm tonight. A gusty wind or small hail is possible. Severe threat is low, but non-zero.

TONIGHT: Rain & storms end from west to east around 10pm with lows dipping into the upper 30s and low 40s.

EXTENDED: A dry day looks to be in the cards Tuesday with some sunshine mixed in with highs in the upper 50s. Another disturbance moves through early on Wednesday, bringing rain chances back. Another one will slide through Thursday, keeping rain chances around in the afternoon as highs stay in the upper 50s and low 60s. Friday is starting to appear dry but looks to be short-lived with another storm system rolling through Saturday.
