For the first time since October of 2014, the Mizzou football team will be featured on College GameDay, a traveling pregame show which highlights nation's marquee matchups.

Host Rece Davis, as well as analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban will set up shop in the Music City to preview the clash between two 6-1 teams.

The Tigers are coming off of a double-overtime victory over Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday night. Meanwhile, the Commodores beat LSU for the first time since 1990 that same afternoon for the program's best start to a season since the 1950s.

The game will likely be a Top-15 showdown, however, we learn the newest AP Top-25 rankings when they are released at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.

Early on, Vanderbilt is a narrow favorite to beat head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company are FirstBank Stadium. Head coach Clark Lea and his team are a 2.5-point favorite, on Sunday, according to Vegas odds.

The last time Mizzou was featured on College GameDay was for a thriller in Columbia, South Carolina. In that annual Mayor's Cup clash, the Tigers came out on top in a tight, 21-20 victory.

Mizzou and Vanderbilt are set to kickoff in Nashville at 2:30 on ESPN on Saturday, Oct. 25.
