COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou running back Ahmad Hardy is accumulating national recognition.

Hardy has been recognized as a midseason All-American by three different media outlets for his performance through the first six games of the 2025 season, including Sporting News, CBS Sports and The Athletic.

The 5-foot-10, 210-pound talent currently leads the SEC in rushing yards (782) and rushing touchdowns (9). He also boasts the second-most carries in the conference (115) and has recorded 100-yard games in five of his six outings this year.

The Mississippi native is also a member of the 2025 Doak Walker Award watch list, which honors the top running back in college football.

Before joining the Tigers, Hardy was crowned a freshman All-American at Louisiana Monroe by Football Writers Association of America and On3, finishing that campaign with 1,351 yards on 237 attempts and 13 touchdowns.

Hardy will strive to maintain his success in the second half of the regular season, starting with a visit to Auburn on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 6:45 p.m.
