Mizzou Men’s Basketball holds Pro Day ahead of 2025-26 season

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Men's Basketball has put its skills on display for some of the nation's best talent evaluators.

The Tigers hosted scouts from a dozen different NBA franchises for Pro Day, an open practice at Mizzou Arena. MU invited scouts from all 30 NBA teams to Saturday's event.

"Pro Day is important for the program because, during the recruiting process, we sit here, I sit there and talk about development. These guys have a file that the NBA keeps, and that file represents their growth, whether they've been with me or another coach. They're now a part of my program forever, and I want to make sure I build on their files, making sure they have an opportunity to not only get a job but keep a job," head coach Dennis Gates said.
