Drinkwitz lands commitment from four-star linebacker

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz's 2026 recruiting class gained a four-star defensive standout, on Friday afternoon.
After decommiting from Arkansas following the firing of former head coach Sam Pittman earlier in the week, linebacker JJ Bush pledged to the Tigers over offers from Mississippi State and Tulane.
The Alabama native is the No. 271 recruit in the nation and the No. 17 rated recruit at his position, according to 247Sports. As a junior, Bush logged 69 tackles and six sacks, along with one interception. He plays both sides of the ball for his high school team, as he tallied 344 yards and six touchdowns as a running back.
Bush will join three-star St. Louis linebacker Keenan Harris in Coach Drinkwitz's 2026 class. You can find a full look at all of the commitments below (ratings according to 247Sports).
