Tracking lots of rain and cooler weather in the forecast

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a slightly more dry rest of the evening after pop up storms exit the region. The sky will begin to clear as temperatures drop into the low 60s by the end of the night and winds shift into the west at 5-10 mph.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking temperatures warming into the mid 80s by the afternoon hours, but more showers/storms will be possible throughout the morning and early afternoon hours. By the evening hours, coverage in activity will become a bit less widespread.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking temperatures staying in the upper 70s and low 80s throughout the rest of the next 7 days. Each day, scattered showers will be possible across the region, with rainfall totals from these chances amounting to around an inch or greater by Wednesday morning. This will assist in the current drought that has been in place across Central Missouri.
