Tracking heat, storms, and cooler weather by the weekend

TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures in the mid 60s with plenty of sunshine heading out the door this morning, warming up into the low 90s by the afternoon hours. Cloud cover will increase throughout the day, with isolated storms becoming possible after 3-5 PM. This activity will fall apart during the evening hours.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking another warm day as temperatures start in the mid 60s and heat up into the upper 80s with winds out of the southeast at 5-10 mph. A cold front will help in slightly more widespread storm activity, picking up in the afternoon/early evening hours and continuing overnight.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking showers/storms lasting throughout Friday and slowly exiting the area during the weekend. The cooler weather will be seen by Friday afternoon as temperatures only warm into the low 80s. Entering the weekend, temperatures will continue to stay in the low 60s during the morning hours and stay in the low to mid 80s each afternoon.
