Mizzou hoops lands second five-star recruit of 2026 class
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The future for Mizzou men's basketball's 2026 recruiting class is looking bright, as the class is made up entirely of five-star prospects, so far.
On Monday, Tiger men's basketball coach Dennis Gates landed a commitment from five-star power forward Toni Bryant, who confirmed the news on his social media accounts. Bryant is joining five-star guard Jason Crowe Jr. as the first two members of the 2026 class.
Bryant is rated as the No. 23 player in all the country and fourth-best at his position, according to 247Sports. The Florida native picked the Tigers over quite a few offers, including ones from North Carolina, NC State, Kansas, Florida State and Arizona.
During his time on the Puma Pro16 circuit, he averaged 13.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
The forward's commitment to Mizzou puts Coach Gates' class as the No. 2 ranked group in the nation, according to 247Sports. As of now, the Tigers are the only program in the country to with multiple five-star pledges in that recruiting cycle.
