After going unranked in the preseason, it only took two weeks for head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company to crack the Top-25. The Tigers came in at No. 25 in the nation, following a thrilling win over Kansas on Saturday.

Coach Drink and his team sent the rival Jayhawks packing with a 42-31 win at Faurot Field, spoiling KU's undefeated start to the 2025 season.

That victory marked Mizzou's 10th in the last three seasons while trailing at some point during the second half, as the Tigers have now won 21-straight non-conference games at home. It was also the program's 12th-consecutive win at home, period, which is the longest home winning streak in more than 80 years.

Up next - Mizzou will stay at home for week three to host the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns on Saturday, Sept. 13. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m.
