Tracking clouds and light rain, cooler temperatures Friday
TONIGHT: Increasing clouds and slightly warmer with lows in the upper 50s.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with light rain through much of the day. Highs in the upper 60s.
EXTENDED: A slow moving cold front will increase cloud coverage tonight into tomorrow morning, with light rain along the front throughout the day. Clouds and rain will limit temperatures from reaching 70 degrees, so a jacket and umbrella will likely be needed. Rain clears out from north to south tomorrow night, leaving us with clearer skies by Saturday morning. Rain amounts likely stay under 0.25". You'll want a warmer layer if you're heading out the door early on Saturday as morning lows fall into the upper 40s, but we'll have a fabulous day with highs in the mid-70s. The pleasant conditions continue into Sunday with highs in the mid-70s and sunshine. Next week starts off mild but quickly warms as high pressure builds over the Plains, sending temperatures back into the low 80s Tuesday and upper 80s by the end of the week.
