Tracking mostly dry and slightly warmer weather for Labor Day weekend

TONIGHT: I'm tracking temperatures dropping into the upper 50s by the end of the night as winds blow out of the southeast at 5-7 mph. A mostly clear sky will be expected throughout the rest of the night.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking temperatures warming into the mid 80s by the afternoon hours as sunshine persists across the area. Winds will continue to blow out of the south at 8-12 mph during the day.

EXTENDED: A mix of clouds and sunshine is expected by Sunday as temperatures warm into the low 80s through the afternoon hours. Upper 70s and low 80s will continue Monday-Wednesday, but during this period there will also be some scattered showers and storms possible each day. Towards the end of the week, cooler weather returns as temperatures in the morning start in the upper 40s and low 50s, only warming into the low to mid 70s by the afternoon hours.
