COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two downtown Columbia parking lots will close for a couple of days in sequential weeks, according to a Thursday press release from the city.

Contractors will perform maintenance on the two lots, which includes filling cracks, sealing asphalt and restriping parking spaces, the release says.

The Tenth and Walnut parking lot will be closed Aug. 25-26. Permit holders for that parking lot should move their vehicles to the Short Street Parking Garage, the release says. The parking lot will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The parking lot at Wabash Bus Station will be closed Sept. 3-4 and will reopen at 8 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, the release says. Permit holders at that lot are also asked to park at the Short Street Parking Garage, the release says.
