Tracking mild temperatures and a weekend cooldown

TODAY: Mostly sunny and warm with highs in the low to mid-80s and a light breeze from the northeast.

TONIGHT: Skies remain mostly clear overnight as low temperatures fall to the lower 60s.

EXTENDED: Sunshine persists on Friday as highs remain in the mid-80s. A cold front will approach from the northwest on Saturday, bringing a chance for showers in the morning and afternoon and a big cooldown. Temperatures drop to the upper 50s Sunday morning, and highs will struggle to reach the low 80s. Cool mornings in the 50s and mild afternoons in the 70s are expected through the first half of next week.
