Tracking cooler temperatures finally arriving tomorrow

TODAY: I'm tracking temperatures feeling like they are 100-105 degrees for areas along and south of I-70 throughout the afternoon. Isolated storms will begin around 3-5 pm, with some storms having the potential to produce brief wind gusts up to 60 mph. Temperatures will cool into the low 70s by the end of the night.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking more sunshine as temperatures warm into the mid 80s by the afternoon hours. Winds will be out of the north at 5-10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking temperatures staying in the mid 80s throughout the rest of the week with sunshine persisting in the forecast. Northerly winds throughout this period will help temperatures stay in this range and keep humidity from getting too high. Another cold front is set to move through this weekend, potentially dropping temperatures into the mid 70s by the start of next week.
