RECAP: Mizzou football set to focus on ‘execution’ in third week of fall camp
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou football team is entering the back half of fall camp, as two weeks, 10 practices and a pair of scrimmages are already in the books. On Saturday, head coach Eli Drinkwitz said the week ahead is all about execution, as kickoff to the 2025 season is right around the corner.
"Execution week, I think, is going to be really important for everybody because now we find out who's going to be consistent. You know, who's gonna be able to stick to it," Drinkwitz said.
ABC 17 Sports Director Nathalie Jones was one of just a few media members invited to a closed scrimmage, which was the Tigers' second of fall camp, on Saturday. She noted just how strong Mizzou's defense looked in the action, while position battles rage on on the offensive side of the ball.
