COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou Football's position battles are nearing a turning point.

On Friday, the Tigers completed their final practice before Saturday's closed scrimmage, which will help coaches decide who are the frontrunners to earn starting spots this season. After that scrimmage, head coach Eli Drinkwitz is scheduled to address the media about his takeaways from week two of fall camp.

You can watch extended highlights of Friday's practice in the slideshow above.

MU has just eight practices left until the conclusion of fall camp, which is scheduled to wrap up on Tuesday, Aug. 19. From there, the Tigers will turn their attention to preparing for their first opponent of the 2025 season: Central Arkansas.

Kickoff for Mizzou's season opener is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28 at Faurot Field.
