Mizzou football approaches the halfway point of fall camp

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team has put eight practices and a scrimmage into the books through the first portion of fall camp, as each and every guy is battling for playing time.

Head coach Eli Drinkwitz told media members, on Saturday, that the first two scrimmage of the preseason would tell him a lot about this team. The Tigers already had one scrimmage on Monday and will play another on Saturday. Coach Eli is set to hold a press conference, following that good-on-good work, that afternoon.

On Tuesday, a group of players broke down the how stood out in the first scrimmage. They all said that the defense was flying around during scrimmage No. 1, specifically pointing out cornerback Cameron Keys as a guy that stood out.

Up next - Mizzou will officially hit the midway point of fall camp with practice No. 9 out of 18 on Thursday.
