Tracking fantastic temperatures and improving air quality

TODAY: Mostly sunny with less haze, and temperatures in the upper 70s, possibly reaching 80 degrees. Winds will be light out of the east at 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW: Temperatures rise into the 80s for the first time in days as sunshine continues.

EXTENDED: A gradual warmup is expected throughout the workweek, with highs climbing near or above average into the upper 80s by midweek, and reaching the upper 80s to low 90s next weekend. This will also bring increased humidity, which could push the heat index into triple digits by the end of the week. Rain chances remain very limited for the next 7 days, with much of Mid-Missouri staying dry and increasingly summer-like.
