Mizzou WBB moves on in SEC Tournament

GREENVILLE, S.C. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou women's basketball team beat Ole Miss 64-53 on Wednesday afternoon in the opening round of the SEC Tournament.

Aijha Blackwell led MU with 16 points and six rebounds. Senior Jordan Chavis scored 11 points for the Tigers.

MU was 9-20 from three-point range. The Tigers shot 50% from the field.

Up next - MU will play Tennessee on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the second round of the SEC Tournament.
