COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

In just seven days time, Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz has doubled the size of his 2026 recruiting class, going from four commitments to eight. The latest pledge came on Sunday night when offensive lineman Brandon Anderson committed to the Tigers.

The Kennesaw, Georgia native picked MU over offers from Tennessee, North Carolina and others. At one time he was actually committed to the Volunteers, but made the decision to de-commit from the program back in January.

Anderson, a 6-foot-5, 335-pound talent, is rated as a Top-40 player in the nation at his position by On3. Meanwhile, according to 247Sports, he checks in as the No 29 interior offensive lineman in the country and No. 45 prospect in the entire state of Georgia.

The offensive lineman is coming off of a junior campaign where he was a first-team region selection and helped his North Cobb Warriors to an undefeated regular-season.

Coach Drinkwitz has put an emphasis on offense in his 2026 group, as Anderson is the seventh out of the eight prospects committed to play on that side of the ball. You can find a full look at the recruiting class below (stars are according to On3).

  • Four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar
  • Four-star wide receiver Jabari Brady
  • Four-star linebacker Keenan Harris
  • Three-star interior offensive lineman Brandon Anderson
  • Three-star interior offensive lineman Khalief Canty Jr.
  • Three-star tight end Isaac Jensen
  • Three-star wide receiver Devyon Hill-Lomax
  • Three-star running back Maxwell Warner

With Anderson's pledge, Mizzou holds the 15th-ranked recruiting class in the SEC and No. 59 in the nation, according to On3.
