Tracking dangerous heat lingering through the work week

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a warm and breezy night as temperatures drop into the mid 70s by the end of the night. Sky conditions will be clear, and winds will be out of the south at 8-12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: I'm tracking plenty of sunshine as temperatures heat up into the low 90s by the afternoon hours, but it will feel closer to 100 degrees areawide. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking this same heat persisting through Tuesday before a gradual "cool-down" takes over the rest of the week. Humidity will begin to calm down, and temperatures will dip into the upper 80s. Throughout this period, isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible.
