TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the mid-60s as skies remain partly cloudy.

TOMORROW: Friday welcomes chances of scattered showers and storms with highs into the mid to upper 70s.

EXTENDED: Saturday welcomes more chances of scattered showers and storms with highs into the upper 70s. Isolated chances of showers and storms remain possible Sunday, but most of the day remains on a drier note. Highs into Sunday rise into the lower 80s. We look drier into next week with isolated chances of showers on Monday.

Chance Gotsch grew up just south of St. Louis and moved to Columbia to attend the University of Missouri to pursue a degree in Atmospheric Sciences.

His interest in weather begin as a child when he used to be afraid of storms.
