Tracking sunshine and warmer temperatures this weekend

THIS MORNING: Mostly clear with temperatures in the 50s early, rising to the 60s by late morning.

TODAY: Highs climb to the upper 70s under sunny skies. Winds from the northwest may gust up to 20 mph.

EXTENDED: Highs continue their climb into the low to mid-80s this weekend as sunshine persists. Sunday could see a very isolated shower or two, but most of the area remains completely dry. Showers and storms return by Tuesday and Wednesday, with more rain possibly following into next weekend.
